Well, went to Regina today for some "mystery medicine". Oh, the doctors will tell you "they don't know quite why it works - they just know it should". I'm supposed to see results in 3-10 days. Took 52 needles, and a near faint (despite my large pain threshold - because I hadn't ate much, probably shouldn't of watched him inject me and count along in my head) - some type of autosomethingerrather-response.
Dropped a ton of cash in Regina today. Tip Top Tailors had a nice sale. Picked up:
* 4 dress shirts
* 1 cord pants
* 1 suit/pants
* 1 tie
* 1 cufflinks
Then went CD shopping cause they have more selection/way cheaper prices. Kept adding to the cds in my hand - it was ridiculous. Ended up with 9 CDs! That's the most i've ever bought at one time. (all of these but the beatles/thornley were value priced) (actually 11 discs (2 double CDs))
Smashing Pumpkins - greatest hits
Nirvana - unplugged in new york
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - anthology: through the years
David Usher - strange birds
Raconteurs - broken boy soldiers
Arcade Fire - neon bible
Sloan - never hear the end of it
Thornley - come again Beatles - white album
But wait there's more! Stopped at Chapters, bought two very useful O'Reilly (geek) books -
"PHP Cookbook",
"Ajax Design Patterns"
Had some nice chinese food for lunch, drove back on the highway to Swift (that I had previously never driven on) in time for an afternoon work meeting. Went for one beer after work. Then felt very, very nauseus. Realized I forgot to take my meds the night before and was at death's door. But now, (3 hours after nausea) I am feeling quite good. A few other noteworthy things have taken place today as well, but nothing I can openly discuss. later.
